Gassier than Papa after eating baked beans, fussier than Grandma when the refrigerator door is open, and able to fill stage six diapers, even though she only wears stage two.
Saving mommy & daddy from boredom... one poopy diaper at a time.

Welcome Gage! (and other good news)
Welcome to the newest newest youngin' in the family - Gabriel Matthew Ballance! Such a cute little thing. And I do mean little--compared to Rory, he weighs absolutely nothing.
Rory had her cardiologist appointment this past week to get her heart murmur checked out. It turns out she does have a small heart defect called a muscular vsd. Translated, she has a hole in one of the walls of her heart. Thankfully, though, it is very small. The cardiologist said that the hole is so small that it doesn't need medication and she doesn't need surgery. He said it would most likely close up on it's own as she grew up, but that if it never did it still would not cause her any problems. It was good to hear that even if it didn't close up, she would still be able to do any sports & activities she wants.
