Holiday Cheer
The holiday season is here! I am so excited. Which is wonderful. Just a few short years ago, I was at a point in my life where I enjoyed the Christmas season, but it just wasn't the same as it was when I was a kid. As I got older and life got more real, the magic just seemed gone from Christmas day. Now, though, I'm excited all over again. Not for me, but for Rory. I get to share with her everything that made Christmas so special to me when I was growing up.
Saturday, we decorated our tree. It was a lot of fun. Rory even helped after she got over her fear of the string of lights. She seriously ran away and started crying every time I would move them. But, she conquered her fear and was able to enjoy the decorating.
