Chicks!
Okay, so I am terrible at keeping up with this blog. There's something about being pregnant and trying to find a place to live and such that just makes me forget about this. Oops.
This past weekend, we took advantage of some "free entertainment" for some family time. I've noticed a sign outside of Tractor Supply for quite some time that said "rabbit and chick days are here." We had taken Rory there to see the bunnies earlier in March, so we thought we would go back and visit the bunnies and meet the chicks.
When we went to the see the bunnies last time, she talked about them for the entire day after that. I'm not really sure how many times we heard bunny that day. I knew she loved them, but it made more of an impact than we realized. When we turned into the parking lot there, she started shrieking "bunny! bunny! bunny!" How do kids remember stuff like that? It had been over a month and we'd only been there once!
So we went to see the bunnies first so they could get reaquainted. When we went to see the chicks, though, it was all over. There were 3 bins of chicks and they were packed full. Rory kept running between them and yelling. The chicks were not amused. I really think she could have stayed there with them all day. She loved them. Here are some pictures from her big day.
her hair is getting so curly! i love her mickey mouse hoodie! ps. how's the house selling/hunting going? :) jen
